Annette left the corporate world in 2013 to establish Pretty & Plus Boutique alongside her spouse. She had the plus size Woman in mind because she herself is plus size. She set out to inspire plus size women and girls of all ages.
 
Her desire is to get Pretty & Plus Boutique customers to see themselves as God sees them, Fearfully & Wonderfully Made with flaws & all. In the past eight years, at the Boutique she has had the opportunity to inspire many women from all walks of life, and thoroughly enjoys the journey, and the outcome.
